SATECH IMPORTANT NOTICE: Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC

Please note that with effect from 29 December 2009, the Directive in question has replaced the previous 98/37/EC.
As for the guarding, the major change concerns the connections between panels and the uprights that must be unlosable or remain attached to the protection itself when they are removed.
The EN 953 A1 directive from May 2009, specifies that these fastening systems are required only where it is expected that the dismantling of the guarding for maintenance routines occur (EN 953 - 7.2)
SATECH is ready with these Unlosable Fastening Systems on all of its Series.
These systems will be provided ONLY UPON SPECIFIC REQUEST otherwise the supply will include traditional fastening systems.
